AMOM's signature 800-hour program is designed for students seeking a broader professional foundation. Students study anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, massage techniques, professional practice, ethics and clinical application while also learning selected Oriental medicine modalities.

AMOM's 800-hour program provides substantially more education than the minimum hour requirement in a number of states and reaches the education-hour threshold used by some higher-hour jurisdictions. Students planning to practice outside Michigan should always verify the receiving state's complete licensing requirements.
